Adopting a puppy

This is a big deal. Therefore we need to make sure we are on the same page so we are going to be very upfront. Below you will find a list of protocols and policies of DOOD Company and the adoption process. If you have any questions beyond that, please contact us. 

RESERVATION DEPOSIT | $250, This deposit will be your placeholder to pick a puppy. First come, First serve. Don’t ask to be moved up on the list, it won’t happen.
This is non-refundable deposit but all goes towards the cost of your pup. Deposit payment options are cash, Venmo, Cash App or Paypal. Please contact us before making a deposit. We want to know you, talk to you, ask questions and be asked any questions before this happens.

FROM DEPOSIT DAY TO GOTCHA DAY AND FIRST WEEK HOME | There is a lot that happens in this time. We will let you know when your litter arrives within a reasonable time.
WEEK 5-6 Puppy Pick Week. We will schedule a time for you to meet the pups in person or via FaceTime and make your puppy pick.
WEEK 8 – GOTCHA DAY! We will schedule the perfect time that works for you and the puppies to celebrate Gotcha Day. This is the day puppies are officially yours and headed home. We do like to at least try to have as many families here at the same time so you can get to know each other and know your puppy’s siblings families. It’s so fun to stay connected!
WEEK 9  Have a vet already picked out, make sure it a certified, knowledgeable and trustable vet. All puppies need to see the vet within the first week of being ‘home’. [Included in final signed contract]

 ADOPTION FEES | All adoption fees need to be paid in full on or before Gotcha Day. No money, no puppy. No exceptions. Adoption payment options are cash, certified check, Venmo, or Cash App. 

WHAT COMES WITH YOUR PUP | 
* Health Record to take to the vet with you of what has been done and with room for them to document the rest of your pups life
* Wellness check from our certified, amazing vet
* One year health guarantee
* First round of vaccines / dewormer
* Dewclaws removed
* A DOOD Company tote with some goodies for you and your pup 

ONE-YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE | All of our dogs are genetic tested and are clear on every level. We guarantee your puppy is free of any life threatening congenital defect or we will replace your puppy free of charge. If ever this arose, we would need a letter from a certified vet verifying defect and puppy would then be returned to us and seen by our vet. This does not cover any common illnesses puppies are susceptible to. Please keep your puppy healthy and safe. We take that seriously and it is your responsibility once in your care. Spay or Neutered Contract | Every puppy must be spayed or neutered at the appropriate time recommended by your vet. These puppies do not come with breeding rights. If bred there will be a $5,000 fine. Everytime. No exceptions. [Included in final signed contract]

Return Contract | If you the buyer, for any reason can not keep your puppy you must under any circumstance contact us. You can either return the puppy to us without refund or we will help you find a safe and healthy home for the puppy. We won’t ask questions, we won’t judge in any way. We love our puppies and want to make sure their never put in a bad situation. If not followed, there will be a $1000 fine. [Included in final signed contract]

Right of Refusal | We reserve the right to refuse a puppy to anyone that is mean, threatening, or dishonest. There will be no tolerance for jerks or liars. Don’t be one:)
